TIP: Order Bbq Coach RTA Cabinets and order your stucco at the same time so we can add it to your pallet for free shipping. This is only possible with RTA cabinet orders over $1500. On smaller order we ship RTA Cabinets by ground in boxes, not freight.
Frame Kit orders it is not possible to add stucco in to the box and must be shipped seperately. Adhesive is also shipped seperately and requires shipping charges.
Stucco Coverage A 5 bucket of stucco is enough for all 4 sides of a 6-7 ft island. A pro can just barely make an 8 ft island since he waste very little and applies the correct 1/8" thickness. Beginners tend to use more and drop more on the ground.
Adhesive quantity? 1 gallon of adhesive is enough for 2 buckets of stucco.
BBQ COACH Uses 100% Acrylic Stucco With Our Secret Chemical Additive For Hardi Backer Adhesion Cement board is not 100% cement. This is why our product contains additives for the strongest adhersion to cement board that regular acrylic stucco does not have!
The 2 Most challenging phases of a DIY Outdoor Kitchen project is the steel framing and a Stucco finish. Many people have used BBQ Coach modules and done a fantastic job all the way up to the stucco and then lack the proper supplies to do a great job
There are many misconceptions and a lot of bad advice when it comes to finishing a cement board bbq island with stucco.
MYTH #1 You have to have metal lath and a scratch coat before applying finished stucco. With The BBQ Coach Stucco you do not use these extra materials which require a lot of hard labor unnecessarily. You will spray or hand trowel it like the Pros !
MYTH #2 You have to apply stucco by hand with a trowel. This is not true. Professional Builders have been spraying this type of stucco for years.... You can use a hand trowel or spray on with a hopper gun. Your Choice! A hand trowel will give you a smoothe finish.

Bbq Coach 1CS Stucco ! The Perfect Stucco Finish for Bbq Islands
It is a premium grade 100% Acrylic Stucco with a proprietary formula additive for cement board. It is your best solution to avoid installing metal lath and to solve cracking problems. Acrylic coatings are extremely resistant to U.V. attack and possess excellent weatherability, with Bbq Coach 1CS withstanding wind driven rain of up to 120 mph.
Even after 10 years of exposure to the elements, high quality Bbq Coach1CS coatings will maintain its flexibility characteristics and will not become brittle even after exposure to either cold or hot climatic conditions. Bbq Coach 1CS withstands the damaging effects of continual freeze-thaw cycles and is alkaline resistant.
Selecting A Quality Acrylic Stucco
As with most products in the construction industry, not all acrylic stucco's are equal. In today's market there are high quality acrylic coatings like Bbq Coach 1CS and materials that are of lesser quality. No matter what the situation, the old adage "you get what you pay for" rings true.
The quality of the material is just as important to the success of the application as the workmanship. No matter how good the contractor is, the result will usually be substandard if the stucco applied is of poor quality.
Incredible Results! There is no comparison between the beautiful, long lasting finish of 100% Acrylic Bbq Coach1CS Stucco and the cheap bagged portland cement (not acrylic) stucco found at the Home Depot which requires metal lath and a scratch coat.
Beware of products claiming to be acylic. Some are actually just portland cement with an acrylic additive. This is not the same by any means.
